AMD's Market Share Recovering

But dropping to position 15 in semiconductor supplier ranking

July 30, 2007 - Even though AMD dropped two positions in the latest top semiconductor supplier ranking, its sales increased 12 percent compared to the first quarter of this year. Generating a revenue of 1.4 billion dollars in Q2, AMD's business is less then one fifth of Intel's. AMD is now at position 15, while Intel of course is leading at number one.
