"Error: No output received." on a Japanese development environment

Reference Number : DPD200118833

Version : Intel(R) Parallel Composer Beta

Operating System : Windows

Problem Description :
This is a known issue in the Intel(R) Parallel Composer beta with the Japanese development environment including Japanese edition of Visual Studio .NET 2003*, Visual Studio 2005* or Visual Studio 2008*.

If you have installed the Intel(R) C++ Compiler 11.0 for Windows on your Japanese system and installed the Intel Parallel Composer beta, you may see this error message when selecting "Use Intel C++" for a project or solution:
Error: No output received.

Resolution Status :

The issue has been fixed. The work around is following:
  1. close Visual Studio
  2. open "Explorer", and go to directory "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\Shared Files\ia32\Bin".
  3. if you see "1041", delete it.
  4. reopen Visual Studio to use Intel Parallel Composer.
